About

Howdy. I’m Jeremiah Lee Cohick. I had my 30-seconds of fame in an Apple Switch commercial, but fame grows lame and I’ve moved on.
Currently, I’m 24 and fresh on the Los Angeles scene trying to pimp my mad new media skills, not my face. I recently graduated from Emerson College. Before three wonderful years in Boston, I was birthed in Virginia, raised in Tennessee, high schooled in Virginia, and enjoyed a gap year in San Diego.
Collaboration, whether it’s street art or online social communities, fascinates me, particularly because it causes our impersonal culture to remember what it’s like to play together. Butterflies, fireflies, schools of fish, and shiny objects also fascinate me.
I’m obsessed with post-post-modernism and critical thinking about culture. I love seeing how technology shapes and is shaped by culture. I love seeing how enabling technologies allow mass culture to strike back against the media oligopoly.
I believe education is the best gift anyone could get and I believe that we aren’t giving enough to ourselves or future generations. I’m trying to find ways to make engaging educational media.
I’m an entrepreneur out of frustration with the lack of innovative and sustainable products being made in the USA. I want to be a millionaire someday, just to know what it’s like to give it all away.
I’m a recovering uber Christian. I respect people of faith, but have found greater peace in atheism.
I’m gay. I’m a geek. I’m a technocrat. I live passionately with direction and purpose to responsibly make life better.
