Here in the Uk we've been fed the same lies as a decade of 'growth' was built upon the back of debt on a whole new scale. Low interest rates pumped money into the system and that money wound up in house prices. Rather than admit they were wrong, rather than admit we need to let the markets adjust we are fed lies and scapegoats. I could rant and rave on this for hours, but it's nice to hear another person who can see through the crap. Too true.
