Burbank Brush Fire Photos

A brush fire started behind The Oakwoods (where I “lived” during my internship) on Friday. The fire burned up to the ridge of the mountain and was contained before it could burn down the other side, which is home to the famous Hollywood sign. I work one stop light away from The Oakwoods and took some photos during my lunch break.

Funny you should link THR. I actually work there! I took a similar shot right outside of my office.
It looked like Mt. St. Helens in Los Angeles from my vantage point. :-)
I particularly like the Mise-en-scène of the pillar of smoke with the bus stop advertisement.
