I felt like I was reading something from The Onion when I read that guy's ultra contrived propaganda piece. Maybe I'm just really sheltered, but it never would have crossed my mind that Ellen Feiss was stoned; I know plenty of sober kids who are just like her (myself included between the hours of 8 and 11 am). But what really got me about the article was his discussion of you. Am I the only one who noticed that the author appears to be using lack of nationalism as a contradiction of Jeremiah's love for Jesus? I see Mr. Christianson's Bible has a little extra in it that my copy doesn't have. Ah, here it is: Matthew 22:37-40. "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love he Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. But verily I say unto thee, the third is more important still: Thou shalt unconditionally support thy nation, whether it does good or evil, ignoring all imperfections and calling Commie any man who suggests that it has any problems. But this only applies to America."

Angry Frozen Head... seems like a very appropriate title to me... angry at the world and unable to change.

I just have to say I no respect for any Christian who questions the faith of another.

And come on, this is 2006 already, can't these people stand up off their hairy knuckles and drop the whole homosexuality thing? Could one straight person on this entire planet please stand up and recall the moment they made the conscious decision to go straight instead of gay?

Well, at least your being lumped in with people like Steve Jobs and Guy Kawasaki--that's good company in my book.

BTW, have you ever heard of the crazy church in Kansas where they preach nothing but an anti-gay message? I live a state away and those nuts used to come down here every once in awhile to protest at military funerals no matter the sexuality of the deceased.

Congrats on the car!

I think it's always funny when people are not informed and then talk like they think they are. He sourced Wikipedia for one (I wish I could get away with that in a professional setting). He also has no idea what he's looking up. Like, he said he looked up "Feel Good, Inc." as the artist when everyone knows that it is in fact the name of the SONG. His Googling skills are not great at all if he didn't learn that fact. I bet that if Apple had decided to go with something like Beethoven, this guy would say something like "Apple is clearly wants us all to be deaf" or something equally ridiculous. So, I love your retort but I don't think you have too much to worry about. This "Timothy Christianson" is hardly credible with his Googling and Wikipedia-ing and blatantly FALSE accusations that he tries to pass off as reporting facts. AHHH! Why are people so DUMB?!?

Mark sent me this wonderful piece by Keith Olbermann: Feeling morally, intellectually confused?

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.
