Internet Crossroads (*very* important!)

Today seemed like a giant April Fool’s Joke played on the American people by the federal government.

  • The US House of Representatives voted down an amendment to protect net neutrality. (More…)
  • An appeals court ruled that the FCC has the power to order broadband internet companies to make their networks wiretap friendly for law enforcement. (More…)
  • The NSA is funding research into the mass harvesting of the information that people post about themselves on social networks. (More…)
