I like how you are adopting the “extreme” babysitter mindset for the environment, in the sense that you must either A) be incredibly vocal about long-term environmental concerns in order to possibly curb the current disasters, or B) decry modern American wastefulness at every opportunity that presents itself. Don’t worry – I do the very same. I hope you hang in there until the guy gets back.

When I was 16, my mom gave me my own copy of “Tapestry.” It’s still in heavy rotation in my car/stereo/Nano. Yay for you meeting Ms. King. :)

Carole King is gifted with an earthy, hearty quality in song. The Living Room Tour has a bunch from her Tapestry album; yet, hearing Carole “live” makes for a richer experience. The live audience ignites a spark within her, it seems. Now I shall be listening only to Ms. King for the rest of the week. :)
