Fool Me Once

This is the final straw.
I’m not sure if I am more upset that I was wrong in my own analysis of Iraq or that the US federal government is so far removed from the people it represents and shows no sign of changing.
Bah! Even though I’ve known crap like this has been going on all along, it just frustrates/angers/annoys/saddens me to see confirmation of it.
As antithetical as it may seem for me to say this, I would be so happy to be proven wrong about everything I believe about this war, this administration, and this government. Because I’d much rather be wrong and a fool but living in a world where things go the way they should, than the other way around.
Oh well. I’ll probably me moving to Canada in a year or two, at least until things get back on track here at home. You and Arthur should join me; we’ll open up a coffee shop ;)
