Gotta Let Go

Honestly, I am having difficultly releasing the mundane things that stress me. I am not talking about relational or livelihood issues, but rather small things. People trying to run my meetings, insignificant differences in opinion with my superiors, inconsiderate actions by others in public, people arguing over petty issues, miscommunications by others that make me look like the bad guy, heartless squashing of far-fetched aspirations. Quite frankly, an unspecific, broad group of people in general. None of these things stand alone. The onslaught of all of them condensed to the past two days is primarily to blame. Sleep nor chai tea nor blogging has untied this knot of stupid things that I normally excuse.

Things that normally never bother us can suddenly become a mountain of insufferable circumstance. Is it brain chemistry or a unbalanced juxtaposition of biorhythmic energies? We shrug off these events and go about our business, knowing that sometime down the road we may experience it again. Your adoring friends wouldn’t have you any other way. ::awesome::http://jeremiahlee.com/blog/wp-images/smilies/jasons/smiley.gif

Do not be discouraged my son. Life happens. I have found in my 47yrs that you can only control your own thoughts, actions, & reactions. Live the life you desire and treat everyone around you with compassion and respect (deserving or not) and you will rest easier.
