Presidential Dinner

President Bush lands in Boston and suddenly, the evil storm clouds come out and taught me with rain on this beautiful Spring day. Coincidence? I think not. From the Emerson E-Campus:

Due to a visit by President Bush at the Park Plaza Hotel today/tonight, traffic in the immediate area of Emerson College will be severely impacted. Scheduled Street closings are: Arlington Street between Boylston St and Marginal Rd - 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Park Plaza from Charles Street South to St. James Ave. 2:00 - 9:00 PM Columbus Ave. between Berkeley and Charles St. South 2:00 - 9:00 PM Stuart St. between Berkeley and Charles St. South. 2:00 - 9:00 PM St. James Ave between Arlington And Berkeley Streets 2:00 - 9:00 PM In addition to the above, changing conditions regarding the Presidents security could result in additional closings that cannot be forewarned. The resulting traffic diversions will severely impact on the schools ability to maintain a bus schedule. Students should plan accordingly.
