Release the Zealots

Now that the next version of Mac OS X (codename "Panther") has reached Developer Preview 1 status with lackluster appeal, I predict that:
- Loyal Mac users will bitch and moan that Apple better not charge $129 for the upgrade and that Apple treats their customers like dog shit. Some may even threaten to switch to Windows, even though they lack the cohones and stupidity to do so.
- Windows users will flame Mac users. Arguments about processor speed, stability, and total cost of ownership will abound.
- Linux users will proclaim that Mac OS and Windows suck and Linux is the answer to all of life’s problems.
