My perception of work previously was a way to step $64 closer to college everyday. But something about the Patels’ takeover has made the job less mundane. Hemanshu’s upbeat attitude and unique perspective elicits something in me that I cannot explain. I don’t mind the 1.4 mile walk to work because when I arrive, the day will be more than a way to pay for college. Is there greater meaning or purpose to the same job that I have had since January? No, but I feel different now.
Jim officially joined R.B.C.P.C. this week and I could see his overwhelmed, yet “I can’t wait to get started” feeling on his face. Good times.
