I never realized how popular my online journal would become. And honestly, I enjoy it. But when I feel that I must shy away from topics or blunt issues in which I feel strongly because minds stray too far beyond the context of my actual words, I am not being truthful in the one place where I should be 100% real.
Freshly squeezed Jeremiah with pulp is much better than Jeremiah made from concentrate.
I am still journaling (though offline) and my journal will most likely resurface online in the future. For now, a less public life beckons me out of necessity more than personal preference.
