I find myself agreeing with the questions Jesus begged God before His crucifixion. Why did Jesus have to die? Was there any other way?
Would it not be like me asking myself for approval over a future event in which I solely controlled the outcome? Jesus’ questioning is the greatest example of internal conflict ever: when God questioned Himself if there was any other way to show His creation that it was not worth destroying completely. God had it right and He anguished so much to find a way to prove that He had not made a mistake in allowing our freewill to potentially be our suicide. How lovingly egotistical!
