Giving Thanks

With God is God by Steven Curtis Chapman blasting in my headphones and a sudden mood of extreme humility in my spirit, I worshipped Christ kneeling, palms face up before I went to bed. The fears and the negative energies suffocated under a flood of peace flowing from the dam that just burst as God’s forceful love was no longer held back by the pent up pressures of the world and rushed to sweep me away from all that I knew to be true. What am I thankful for? The select few people in my life who truly know me and provide constant examples of Christian servant hood. Good Day of Thanksgiving and Prayer to you.

I dreamt that my Mom suddenly reappeared in my life. We stood at the doorway of my Meme and Papa’s house on Fox Hall Road in the front bedroom. She came in and told me how sorry she was for not being in my life the past five years and how she knew that she could not have my dad back, but that it was okay because she missed her children so much. Then she hugged me. I was finally taller than her, towering over at this point. Even though I am awake now, I cannot get over how real the dream felt. I miss her so much.

Thanks to Matt, the DNS issues on my Sun Cobalt Raq 4 are no more and all of my sites should be making a grand transition to a new server next week.

I am off to Arizona this Thanksgiving with my uncle and his family to join my grandparents. Annie is also celebrating her 18th birthday during our stay. Audible.com will provide stimulus for the five hour drive.

Quick news: I got a haircut, went for something a little different than usual and I love the results. No pictures until I get highlights! • Adam sent me his mix collection, entitled Audiovivid; quite refreshing indeed. • My gift shopping this Christmas will be minimal, but I am most excited about my gifts to the natives. • If ZJAM has the funds, I will be joining them in Nashville in January. After my Emerson College Honors Application, this is the most prayed about item in my life currently.

Good for you? Share!
