So I found these pair of Nike shoes for $40. My shoe preference is New Balance or Sketchers, but I decided to deviate for this seemingly good deal. After three runs, the Nikes caused a blister that extends from the base of my foot to just above my ankle. Lesson learned.
The most interesting people visit my site. I love waking up each morning just to read the rad email I receive. The whole ordeal is so encouraging.
I’ve been reading through 1 & 2 Kings this week. The monotony is sometimes overwhelming. There are three types of kings: kings who did what was evil in the eyes of God, kings who served God but not completely, and righteous kings who pleased God. The difference between the kings was how much of their life they committed to God’s pleasing. The more committed, the more God blessed the king and his kingdom. My hope is that my commitment benefits everyone I encounter, just as the commitment of the righteous king blessed the entire kingdom.
This week just flew by. My work for Central VA Orthopaedics and Who is Melissa is almost done. Several people have now requested bids for new projects, so I might not be doing no-brainer work somewhere in the Von’s Shopping Center as I expected. Free-lancing is so unpredictable and I like the comfort of having a dedicated pay cheque every week but desdeving is a thrill for me.
I’m doing an interview with MacTeens.com today at 1 PM PT.
