My Friday was Ruby with Rianna, Ryan, and Sherrie for dinner and a movie.
I helped Mark move from his house to his apartment yesterday. We ate at the Golden Gag, seeing Rebecca Armstrong along the way. In the face of adversity, this guy still shines with God’s grace.
It’s okay to think about what you want to do until it’s time to do what you were meant to do.

I love this quote because I do not agree with it. The problem is that if we are not doing what we were meant to do (that is, glorify God) and/or not desiring to glorify God, our whole existence is futile. We must at all times amplify God’s purpose for our life with a joyful spirit. Lacking this unity between personal desire and eternal responsibility results in an empty void in one’s life that cannot be filled by anything of this world. When you seek God, He will give you the desires of your heart. God amazes me when He takes a human goal and gives utmost meaning to it to create overwhelming praise for Himself. It’s okay to think about what you want to do until your dreams and goals no longer revolve around glorifying God by your actions and with your heart.
Happy Bday USA! I attended Celebrate America! at Liberty University with Ryan, Erica, and Kristine last night. The event was blahish, but the fireworks kicked.

I celebrated America today by shoe shopping (since Creation Fest ate my Sketchers) and catching a movie with Rachel and Ryan. Isn’t capitalism wonderful?! The lady at Journeys was rad. She noticed that Ryan was wearing a Relient K t-shirt and rewound the in-store music video DVD to Relient K‘s Marilyn Manson Ate My Girlfriend video.
